Welcome to the Guy Little Photography + Stock Client page. This page was designed to clarify work practices for both client and the photographer concerned to ensure the best possible creative outcome for your brief.

Model / talent / pocket releases are required when people who are recognizable in photographs are used for commercial purposes. This is to ensure and to protect both the client, photographer and the talent. They are also required should the photographer enter any of the images for books, publications, competitions or awards and are also used as an accurate way for recording talent contact details.

A property release is the same as the talent release above should the house be used for commercial purposes for example, a banking advertisement.

A reproduction indemnity agreement is one that simply states that if the photographer is asked to copy an artwork by a client that the client is either the copyright owner or has permission from the copyright owner, to guard against fraud. Once again to protect all parties concerned.

All these documents are standard industry practice in Australia and throughout the world and have been derived from the main professional photographic organizations of the ACMP and AIPP in Australia and the ASMP in the USA.
